            Reminders on behavior, not “texting” in your writing assignments.

            Focus:  Identifying Verbs and Using Strong Verbs

Friday, September 14            WASL scrimmage (every Friday):  Practiced the ABCDs of WASL test taking.  Answered to essay type questions on an old WASL reading test. 

Monday, September 17            Update contents page in your writer’s notebooks, and number the pages.            Practice verb and sentence fragment identification sheet (in-class)

            Begin writing “What Bugs Me” first draft. (Due Wednesday)
